I am so very sorry ๐
We treat allowed to treat our pets with more dignity than what we can treat loved ones.
My heart breaks for you whole family... this is not fair and not right. Even if you went to court and got an order to stop feeding her it still leaves your mum in pain and a long process of starvation.
I can't imagine how your Dad must be feeling. His sorrow must be so great and his guilt at not being able to do anything to help her so deep.
I wish there was more that I could do other than these words of support. :-x

((Amy))
I'm sorry that you are all going through this.
Is it possible that as a result of the brain injury the crying does not necessarily mean that your Mum is in pain or emotionally upset ?
Even if that were the case it must be hard for you and your family to hear your Mum crying.
I'm sorry.

Amy you and your Dad and your family are doing the best for your Mum by seeing that she is well cared for and all treatment options explored .I hope that knowing that gives you all some comfort and that you are able to enjoy your days as your Mum would want you to.
