My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Bet it's not as bad as mine, my bathroom is a shocker. Old deep cast iron bath you have to climb into to use the shower ..... On the list for next yr, I hope

Re: My day

The bathroom is just dated, it needs updating a new vanity new tiles and a nice corner shower and no bath taking up room.

Re: My day

Just catching up.  Hi to Bluecat, Joono, Punchie and others.

Freddie, love the flooring, sort of limestone pattern.  It looks so clean and bright and hygienic.  What a difference from the old floorcovering.

So last night, I'm in the bath.  I  l-o-v-e  a bath.  Have one at least weekly.

(Ha, I know you are going to say you could smell me from wherever you are, but I do shower too, at times.)

Anyway....I was missing my old cast iron bath from yore.  The one which coped with my large-boned body.  The width and length is sadly lacking in the current one.  And the "plimsoll line" is lower; and it's harder to roll over to enable said large-boned body to extricate itself from the confines. No matter how much salt I use in the water, I still can't float.

And there is Bushie showing off hers.smileywink:

Re: My day

Punchie....

I just can't imagine (and have been critical to a point) about ADHD, etc. having only once encountered a child on Ritalin.  I was judgemental of that case, because knowing the drug addled parents (of 5) along with poor discipline, and the poor dietary intake made me think it was a lazy diagnosis.

So now I am able to listen to another side of the  challenges that families endure.   Thank you.

In regard to genetics, I have a daughter who is diagnozed bi-polar and I had an aunt who I believe suffered similarly.  Neither can/could bear children.

Recently, I have been wondering whether the mental/physical issues were linked in some way.  "Mother Nature" taking a control?
