My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

"Good Morning" Amber, our body gives us direction sometimes, we just have to listen and act (Or not act).Smiley Very Happy

Hi Soul2 it's been a little while since you last dropped by.   And sounds like a hive of activity at your place.

I've returned from the green shed,  articles that popped into my cart include some shadecloth for a makeshift cover over a fishpond. Verbena, alyssum and salvia seedlings - I shouldn't need to buy them again due to their self sowing - and a couple of tomato plants.

They will be planted late evening or early tomorrow morning.

Nana nap time in the meanwhile.

Re: My day

I mowed the lawn early this morning Smiley Happy

and that's about all I'll do today, too dang hot to do much.

I'll have to take a photo of the lettuce seeds I planted last week. I might have to do a bit of thinning out.

Re: My day

Hi Pimpy, yep the day is becoming humid and sultry, sit down have a glass of a little something.

I was thinking about the mass planted punnets that I bought, I might have to put some seedlings in some pots as well as the garden.   Punnets at Bunnings are about 3 times the size of the ones from the old days Smiley Frustrated

Do you leave the thinning to a bit later, so that you can use the lettuce leaves rather than discard?

Re: My day

Lovely afternoon with an old friend....too many cups of tea and sticky bun. Lots of laughs...in fact we needed tissues to wipe away the giggle tears.

Now all 3 grandchildren are here for dinner and a sleepover. How lucky I am

Re: My day

Afternoon everyone. Sounds like a good afternoon Twinkle stars.

I was going to do some baking but opted out for coffee and a wander around the shops. Now I am relaxing Jon the deck enjoying the cool breeze.
