After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Hi Soul2 it's been a little while since you last dropped by. And sounds like a hive of activity at your place.
I've returned from the green shed, articles that popped into my cart include some shadecloth for a makeshift cover over a fishpond. Verbena, alyssum and salvia seedlings - I shouldn't need to buy them again due to their self sowing - and a couple of tomato plants.
They will be planted late evening or early tomorrow morning.
Nana nap time in the meanwhile.

I mowed the lawn early this morning 
and that's about all I'll do today, too dang hot to do much.
I'll have to take a photo of the lettuce seeds I planted last week. I might have to do a bit of thinning out.
Hi Pimpy, yep the day is becoming humid and sultry, sit down have a glass of a little something.
I was thinking about the mass planted punnets that I bought, I might have to put some seedlings in some pots as well as the garden. Punnets at Bunnings are about 3 times the size of the ones from the old days 
Do you leave the thinning to a bit later, so that you can use the lettuce leaves rather than discard?
