After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Good morning everyone.

It's a lovely gig music room tas and you've done a good job.

It is a sad for for some Brissie people bushie - we have to ring friends to see how they are as it was in their area.

Az, as amber said, lives are worth more than things.  Glad they're all OK.

freddie, glad the princess came good in the end.  Did she enjoy it after her stubborn attitude?  A few things not going quite right for you but I think that might have been the third one (things happen in threes).  Vinyl, shower screen and a stubborn princess Smiley Happy.

Waves to everyone - Deb, I have to go and action some cake decorating - it will be finished by lunch time, thank goodness.

Enjoy your day everyone.

Re: My day

Sandy i'm sure she did enjoy the day i'm feeling the repercussions of my stance regarding her safety and use of the wheel chair. Her demands to be delivered back to her room after meals and activities she thinks takes preference over everyone else and everything else, no matter how I explain she needs to be patient and wait her turn, hence the "Princess" tag. I get the feeling the staff are at times maybe teaching her a lesson in patience but leaving her till last. Woman LOL

Re: My day

Oh rear Freddie, it does look like he may be more of a "stayer" than a "goer"  .... Is he a chatter? The guy who painted our kitchen ceiling was, paint, chat, paint, chat took him 2 days to do the undercoat and one coat of ceiling paint ( one coat per day ). We thanked him for his wok and told him we would do the other coat ourselves, it was all getting just a bit too "painful"

Good luck with the cake Sandy, pics are essential pls 🙂  I also rang my friend in Brissie last night, thankfully her area  escaped the bulk of the storm. She runs a large gsd recue group up there and was more worried about the dogs than her material possessions.

Re: My day

I don't really give him the opportunity to chat if he and Mr F start I get behind him and give Mr F the evil eye and the head shake Woman LOL the chat comes to an abrupt end after that Smiley LOL

He doesn't normally arrive until 9am but he arrived at 8.15 this morning, he's now out the back cutting the remaining kick board tiles. I plucked up the courage to tell him this morning I really want it all finished by next Wednesday at the latest Woman Embarassed He then tells me his plans for today which I know won't be completed going on past plans.

*crosses fingers*

Bushies I don't mind a chat but it can become pretty costly if you're paying someone by the hour lol

Re: My day

Good morning all .....  Heart

Poor Brisbane, we were there earlier this year, unfortunately very busy though so didn't get much time for 'tourist' activity as we were at the Griffith Conservatorium attending an international master class, and what a great time we had .. all work though, but what a fabulous experience!

Beautiful city that gets a big share of storms being subtropical.

Hope it all gets cleaned up and back to normal as soon as possible.

Know what you mean about all the "chatting" Bushie ... we have a piano tuner who doesn't stop talking from the time he hits the door until the time he leaves.  He even talks to the piano if we're not within ear range ...  Smiley Very Happy, but he is so good and keeps working, and he's from the 'old school' of tuners who really knows his stuff, doesn't just tune, he builds pianos as well.  A real diamond, brilliant man.

Have a great day everyone xxxxx
