After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Morning DEB Sounds like things have settled a "little" for your daughter I do hope you both enjoy your "pamper" day together.
My one day lily wont be in flower for long am hoping that some of others open up quickly and take their place.

Cooler and over cast here atm, may even get a spot of rain. We have to go and PU some firewood in cpl of hours, so cool suits me just fine.

Lloydslights, your plans for decorating sound gorgeous, hope you will take some pictures please if you can?  So good that your daughter is sounding a lot better, it must be a relief for you, and for her too.  It will be a fabulous day for you both with all the nice things you have planned to do today, what a treat xx

Talking about today, I was supposedly heading up the coast to visit some quilters today but we're having a thunderstorm right now so that might be a fizzer if it doesn't finish within the next hour or so, it's fairly 'heavy' and I might just stay put.  

They're making chocolate eclairs and cream puffs today too so the storm had better pass quickly! ...

a little further back, I think it was Amber who mentioned Clivias. which happen to be a favourtie of mine. I took this pic a couple of months ago when it was flowering, it's the Olivia Newton-John variety. I also have lots of the orange one but haven't got a photo of those

this is a stunning azalea in my front garden, it's finished flowering now too

That's a bright azalea, Debra - we used to have one outside the kitchen window at the old house.  Very hardy and huge.  I like the colours of those clivea.

My condolences to Punch on the passing of Max; some Dads are just so hard to lose from this world. 

I think Freddie had a medical appointment today, which may be a reason for not appearing here yet.

Well, I'm off.  Will be back about Saturday.

Oh and thanks for that little kitten's waves, Tas.

Deb that clivia is just beautiful.

I'm waiting to hear back from my GP about my ultrasound results.

The reno man is currently puting up the vanity, I told him to leave the replacement of the 2 tiles till last, I want the shower screen and vanity up, taps in and the silicone sealant done today.

Just want to add my condolences for Punch - so sad to lose a parent.  I can't help thinking how he told Punch he loved her the other day. .
