My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

a long time ago, OH and a friend of ours were replastering our back room, when I went to have a look, I noticed they'd put the cornice on upside down Woman Surprised ( it was a fancy cornice)

I told my GF I didn't have the heart to tell them as they'd been working so hard on it but my GF said you'd better tell them before the cornice adhesive sets

OH argued for a bit that they'd put it on the right way , but then luckily he conceeded (just in time) lol

Oh dear

well spotted Debra.

No more spa-ing for me for three weeks. The seabaths are closed for maintenance. I am taking it personally 😞

Re: My day

Claps hands for freddie - at long last he is moving.  A lot of time wasted on his errors by the sound of it.  I agree with bushie - I think he took on something that was too much for him.  Still, he is getting here now and it won't be long before you have a beautiful bathroom.

Thanks for the cranberry juice suggestion - I can't have any juices because I am diabetic andd juices have a lot of sugar.  I do have the anti-biotics to fall back on if the ural doesn't move it.  Haven't heard of the cranberry vitamin caps though.

Good your pleased with your kitchen az.  I would like a new stove - maybe next year sometime.

Twinkles, I think the reference was the previous work he done for freddie that she was very happy with.  Who said, "Life's not meant to be easy" Smiley Very Happy.

If you've had rain bushie, it's probably on it's way here.  With this humidity, our garden is growing like mad.

We made out Christmas cards at craft on Monday so I am about to go out and put verses in them.  Catch you all later.

Re: My day

Thanks Debra - we got our first 3 today so thought I better get the verses in and start writing in them.

As we are getting older, there's a few deaths each year so they are decreasing - still too many though.

Re: My day

2 days to do that work was always an impossibility. I dare say he took on more than he could cope with in a good timeframe. In regards his pricing, you should only pay what was quoted plus any extras you may have asked for. It is his problem that it took him so long, you should not compensate for extra time. There's a bit of difference between painting and renovating a bathroom, perhaps he needs to stick to painting.

Glad he has moved himself today and fingers crossed it is finished sooner rather than later.
