My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Washing is out, floors done.  Morning Tea is now served.  Okay, it's "cawphy" in a mug.  Before I get back to the housework I had an idea.

 ***blinking lightglobe moment****

This might help Stawka, with the pain management.

It's aimed for children but if you increase the numbers/ratios, it just might work.Smiley LOL

Remember, if pain persists, seek medical advice.  *****Adjusts stethoscope to a jaunty drape around neck****

Ask your patient to blow out their pain by blowing bubbles, or using a pinwheel or a whistle. For added encouragement, tell them that if they give the whistle three to six big blows, they can keep the whistle.

I don't know if your "nursing staff "  will appreciate you keeping the whistle. Maybe take up the flute?

I think it was Bluecat who long ago said that she puts up numerous "Get Well Cards" to use as an excuse for her 'idle housework days'.

Perhaps you could adopt a similar idea for your genuine malady leading up to Christmas Day.  Relish the help that will be forthcoming.

Re: My day

LOL Deb.  Foot is much better today, swelling on it's way down.

Haven't 'blown a flute' for many a year now, although the 'nursing staff'

would probably enjoy it.

As for blowing bubbles,  I don't use the bath anymore.  Hahaha

Thinking of a bathroom reno now.  Needs it.  Very 80's. Mustard bath

and basin.   Erk!

Would like to get rid of the bath and have a walk-in shower along

the end wall.   Eliminates the need for a door.  Also allows for

a seat, which I will need, sooner rather than later. Hmmm, need

to startt planning and work out costing.............

Thanks for this thread, freddie.

Re: My day

I am ripping out my old cast iron bath and just installing a large shower, my bathroom is more th 40's/50's variety, so yours is quite modern in comparison, mine is a disaster atm

Re: My day

We're back to baths?

doesn't anyone remember I have the ugliest bath in history?

Pink pink pink...shudder shudder shudder

and rusted taps that have stained it

Have a lively day everyone, going to try for a walk later on if no more stormy weather

Re: My day

Picked the new fly screen for the lounge room yesterday, no more "blowies"  .... Dunno what it would have cost to make it ourselves but at least it's done
