My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

Re: My day

Glorious  day here, my house is shining, washing is flapping in the breeze, lawns have be mowed, edges have been trimmed ( not by me ), gardens/lawn has been watered,  Mr B is cooking a BBQ for lunch, then its time to relax for the afternoon.

Freddie I hope you are feeling better today, missing your cheery chat 🙂

Sandy so you are still having probs with your asthma, do you have an air purifier?, would it help?

Hope everyone else is enjoying their day 🙂

Re: My day

Good Afternoon all

91% humidity - any serious housework cancelled. Not good for freddie, either if same level of humidity up her way.

Drive to PO and supermarket later, hope there are some vacant carparks. Would melt if I walked there today.

Re: My day

I keep forgetting to plant catnip. Do your cats love it, Tas?

Well, what I don't love is Centrelink. I queried a supposed overpayment that was caused by their own ineptitude. The assessor decided that I had , indeed, filled out and lodged a "Separated Under the One Roof " form within 14 days, and, therefore, they had, in fact underpaid for most of the period in question and reimbursed me. So, I thought that everything had been sorted out, Today, I received a letter from them notifying me that I owe x amount of money. The same amount that they had reimbursed me. I had to ring them to organise a payment plan because they were going to take it all out of my next DSP which would have left me with about $250 to survive on. They still tried to tell me that I owed money during the period that had been deemed an underpayment and that I hadn't provided them with a "Separated Under the One Roof" within 14 days. I said that that was untrue and to check my record which she did, and shock, horror, not only had I lodged the "Separated Under the One Roof" within 14 days but that they had, in fact, underpaid me during that period and they had reimbursed me. However, I still owed them money because part of that payment period was dependant on teh previous 14 days. I was able to organise a payment plan before my brain exploded. Why does Centrelink have to make everything soooo complcated?

Forget the coffee, give me a boubon! LOL.

Sorry, DEB, I made a mistake. Feliway is synthetic copy of feline - not female - facial pheromones that cats use to mark their territory as being safe abd secure.

Make that  bourbon and a scotch.....

Re: My day

I jusr wish that they knew what they were talking about. It seems to vary from one person to the next. They make my brain hurt. lol.

The spraying cat will be visiting the vet tomorrow morning to find out what can be done about his spraying. He is fast running out of lives. I think that he just "marked" the loungeroom floor. A throw rug that is usually on the couch had somehow ended up on the floor - my bengals are keen redecorators - and on the floor right near it is, what I am sure of, a line of spray. GRRRRRRRRR. Bloody cat. He'd make a nice pair of slippers.....

Re: My day

I finally found my filing cabinet! The study/sewing room had been used as a junk/storage room and was left in a state of chaos and even though, I started sorting that room out a while back, I became overwhelmed and moved onto another room. This evening should see recycling in the recycling bin; rubbish in the rubbish bin; the odds and ends that are his taken out of the house; shed things taken out to the shed; floor swept and mopped. The room needs a coat of paint but that will have to wait. I have about three years of filing to be done.

Oh, and I found my missing washers.Cat Very Happy
