Wow B3 you have been busy, good luck re your house, hope it sells quickly for you.
Outside day here, planting, pruning, mowing and generally tidying up the back area. Also managed to buy 50 metres of 2nd hand pine lining boards very cheaply, we will pick them up tomorrow and stock pile them ready for our bathroom reno.
Hope everyone else had an enjoyable day

Good Morning everyone.
Just noticed a silver sunrise here. Dark grey clouds and more rain forecast. Beautiful soaking rain. The garden is responding well to Nature's elixir. The lawn a little too much, but.......that's okay.
Don't know what I'll do today. Have to go through some boxes in search of more books. "1984" is taking a toll on me, I need to rest from it now and then. To me it's like being periodically hit around the head with a 4x2 lump of wood.
(Aps, I won't be finished before February. And I may have to re-read it, because I'm sure I am missing some things first time round.)
I watched, again, Something's Gotta Give, last night. What a nice, funny movie. Haven't had a laugh for awhile so it was some light relief.
Hope you all have a good one.

A very good morning to all xxx
Talking about fruit and freezing fruit etc, I've been visiting the strawberry farm a half hour or so away and freezing a kilo at a time. The season is very short this far south so we're taking advantage of that. The strawberries are really big, so easy to core and slice up, oh how sweet they are.
The raspberry farm isn't that far away either and to top it off, they have a magnificent restaurant/cafe with everything raspberry ... one can have a lovely day out doing the tourist crawl along the same highway with the chocolate factory, the raspberry farm, the cheese farm and the cherry place all within a bull's roar of each other. We often take our visitors and guests along the route, lovely drive as well.
Big fun day coming up today, the quilting platoon is on the way from both directions ... it's not vanilla slice this time, they're threatening to come loaded with Danish pastries, so I'll get on and quickly make tomato and ham sandwiches to counteract the temptation ..... ![]()
Have a really great week everyone ...... ![]()
