After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this

Car is washed [I told the man at the carwash that my car needed a wash. He looked at it then said,"I know." LOL.], nature strip mown and now I am having a cup of tea before I head off to the shopping centre.

Plans for the day:  

small shopping trip, buy new fan for bedroom,

get some stuff from storage, 

check CS, 

find the sander, create sawdust, mix shellac

check CS.

I'm up and have been doing a quick tidy up before the Grey Army handyman arrives to fix my leaking tap. Seems a bit silly to tidy up for someone who will be here to change a washer but its something that I must do.

Otherwise, a quiet day for me. I might watch some DVDs. I've finished rewatching Sons of Anarchy [ I wish they'd hurry up and release season 6 in Australia. The seventh and final season has already finished being screened in the USA]. Perhaps, I'll rewatch the Justified series.

Awoke this morning to a phone call from great grandaughter asking where we were meeting them for breakfast - so off we went - had a lovely time and now home again. 

Man is here extending our outdoor awing over the barbecue area for more shade in the summer which will be nice.

Plan on a nice lazy day then watch the election results tonight.

Lloyds, it's all still going on here too, painting and floor refurbishing, some of it is where we changed our minds after painting the first time .....  ... sigh!  So glad we did though, the difference is so much better .. sometimes the second time around is the best and also, now we have lots of undercoats ...  .   It will be a long time before we ever have to do it again.

Bluecat, I tidy up before anyone is in to fix things, too. But it really needs it most of the time...but I know what you mean.
