My day

After several hours during the week clearing and cleaning up a messy garden my day started like this before and after 002.JPG

My day

Goodmorning all,

A bit of a nothing much day today, washing and some cleaning up chores and that's about it, and home made burger's using turkish bread rolls for dinner, so easy peasy day.

My Mum had a pressure cooker with a release valve on it that heavy hissing monster scared me.

We have a barking dog next door she takes in rescue dogs. Not a good idea when you live in a close neighbour area, we like to work with her but when it goes on and on and on for day's on end it gets a bit tiresome after 4 days.

Four days Freddie? I've been waiting about 8 years for the mongrel over the back to pass away! It never shuts up!

My day

Morning Freddie,

Dogs that bark continually drive me nuts, mine only bark when someone comes to my door or walk by and even then they are told to be quiet.  The is one across the road who has been barking continually recently, I have spoken to them about it but they dont seem to care, if it continues a call to the ranger will be made.

Cant the ranger do anything Mugsy?

Oh mugzy I would have done my block before this if I were you, this doggy barked and barked and barked last night this morning he's quite probably catching up on his missed sleep. If he doesn't settle soon I see Mr F with the hose standing on the fence LOL Woman LOL

I don't like getting Rangers involved, in fact they called me re some barking dogs the other week

and I warned the owners before the rangr and police came.

But it is irresponsible of the owners not to do something, especially if you have asked them.

Most of the time it is boredom and / or not being able to see out or not being taken out at all.

My old Kelpie once got into barking mode, council sent a letter. Soon sorted it out.

Bones, Toys, get the dogs to NOT like the birds that come to eat and they will spend all day

chasing the birds away - especially if you put down seed for the birds to eat Smiley LOL

(My current Kelpie chases Myna's and Pidgeons away, non stop !)

I only speak to the ranger as a last resort, they have 3 dogs, they keep in a large pen, rarely spend time with them so the dog is bored. I have spoken to them a cpl of time re the dog and they dont seem to care. Birds in the yard dont bother my dogs at all, mine only bark to let me know someone is there which being sheps they will do.

Bushie

Self explanatory with what you wrote.

My current dog is the same - since I have trained her, she barks, I tell her enough / it's OK, if she keeps going (barking) it means someone is in the driveway.

So she has turned out really good as I am deaf (well, bad hearing !!!).
