I received a letter in the mail and had to check the model number.

They are sending a techie in the next '3-5 days' to fix the problem. "In the mean time do not leave washing machine unattended".

Right. I'm off to a wedding. Today can only get better.

As long as they don't give me a time window of "7am - 5pm" and turn up at 5.15pm after I've waited all day. I hate that!
