because of serious risk of fire!
I received a letter in the mail and had to check the model number.
They are sending a techie in the next '3-5 days' to fix the problem. "In the mean time do not leave washing machine unattended".
Right. I'm off to a wedding. Today can only get better.

I should have not left my washing machine unattended 2 days ago. I flooded my house. Drying the floor rugs has been difficult with the rainy weather and I don't even want to think about the damage to the floating floorboards. Its a complete disaster.

well, my last 3 cars have all been recalled for service but all three cars were found to be free of the fault which they were looking for and had been reported in some of them. (Is that what it is called when the manufacturer notifies you of a fault in the model and tells you to bring it in for checking?) That was on a Toyota, Hyundai and a Mazda.

It's like they call you in for an app update.

Don't leave it unattended???
How on earth is it going to have the risk mof fire if it is unplugged?? Rub two knickers together ??
I cant believe that they would have said, how silly can they get?

well, they could have said, "don't get your knickers in a knot"
