Without Predudice:
It seems there is a need for an independent 'as titled' thread.
Can we share, say what we would like to say, think what we want to think, even be nice to each other (optional)
(Without religion or politics) (please)(pretty please).
Think I come under the Old Crone bit.

I wear flats these days too....the older I get the lower my heels get.
When I was in high school in the late 50s/early 60s we had a music mistress whose heels were astronomical...we used to wonder how she could even walk in them. I remember my mother predicting she would cripple herself.
Jump ahead to the 80s and I nearly fell over when the new headmistress arrived at my youngest daughter's school....my old music mistress was now plodding around in orthopedic lace up shoes.

It was more than weird....it was terrifying. I was not the best music student she had ever had....I could not carry a tune to save myself.
When we first met all I could do was blurt out....you were Miss X when I was at Sydney High. All those years later she was married so I did not recognise the name. I felt like I was back in high school and being hauled in front of the headmistress myself instead of tackling her on behalf of my daughter.
Still, I did manage to hold it all together and have a resounding win over the teacher who was accusing my daughter of wrongdoing unjustly.

Similar happened to me - twice.
A "Miss" at high school whom I had for 2 subjects = 10 periods a week AND as the school reps sports manager, was a teacher at my children's high school. We still got along fine, when we met up at the school canteen window.
The other "Mrs M" had been the very strict Music Teacher and Girls' Supervisor at high school, that had a strict dress code. You know, belt not too tight, hat brim d-o-w-n, hem length, etc . Being a bit of a pushing-the-boundaries-type of schoolgirl, I had the odd occasion of friction.
Well blow me down, 30 years later she walks into the store......straight away I look down to see if my socks were folded down. She recognized me too, then went on to say what good students my siblings were. Yeah, yeah......

Have not forgotten, I used to click on that and it would take straight to my computer and I could pick my pictures.
Now I get this stupid Scene insert/edit, asks for source and description.
Why when it was so easy has it been changed
