Oscar Pistorius

I'm surprised there's no thread already about this. Is it because it's not an Australian case?

And waited until the couple finished their shouting argument because he was scared?

i think there was a reason for that testimony (shouting argument)

to be unreliable.  not 100% sure of the details though.

How did he get past the security which costs zillions?

not sure what else was going through pistorius' mind

for him to think that was possible apart from what he

testified.

bottom line: he intended to shoot whoever was in the bathroom.  If you point a gun at someone and pull the trigger (4 times) chances are you are going to kill that person.  He may not have intended to shoot Reeva, but he sure as heck intended to shoot someone.

As the person in the bathroom hadn't threatened him, it's not really self defence either is it.

Civilians who shoot first, ask questions later shouldn't have guns.

agree. a reasonable person would understand their

actions would most probably result in killing someone.

will his disability and other factors be taken into account?

- will be very interesting to see.  won't be long now.

I certainly hope not. He has a physical disability not a mental disability

Re: Oscar Pistorius

  • The judge is expected to announce a decision on bail after the court resumes.

  • The judge has called a break. Things will resume at 12:30 local time (11:30 BST)

That's in 2 hours - our time.   What's this about bail though?????
