Haha Richo, you have reminded me of the time my 4yr old son flat out asked a dishevelled old man if he was a scarecrow.
I think I turned a few shades of crimson

My then 7 year old told her [male] teacher that ''mummy has a new bra - and its red." My response was,"Actually, its garnet." The teacher was much amused. Another time, when she was asked how I was, said that I was sick. When asked what I had, answered ,"The Phlegm". lol.
Then, there was the time when Miss 7 tied a ribbon around Miss 4's wrist and pretended that she was a puppy. The "puppy" was told to bite their father on the ankle. So she did.

Sitting in the doctor's waiting room with my then three year old daughter. I could see her eyeing off the bloke opposite us, who had a giant handlebar mo. Next thing she says, 'Mum is that man here so the doctor can get that furry thing off his face?' I could see she was intrigued, but didn't expect that. lol.

My mother was a primary school teacher back in the 40's. One child came and told her that her mother was sick and in hospital. Mum knew that she had bowel problems. The child told the class that her mum had a problem with her 'valve'. Poor mum laughed out loud, which I suppose was a bit frowned on, even back then.
