I guess the mad monk thinks we all have the stereotypical 'memory of a goldfish'....
It is a promise......another to be broken, that parliment will be respectful

Addressing the West Australian Liberal branch at its annual conference on Saturday, Mr Abbott pledged a parliament that "discusses the issues, rather than abuses individuals".
The prime minister said the parliament wouldn't impugn the motives of opponents or trash their reputations.
If anyone tried to go over the top, new Speaker Bronwyn Bishop would sort them out.
"And I am confident that after just a few weeks of the new parliament - that parliament that diminished our policy and embarrassed our citizens over the last three years - will soon seem like just a bad memory," Mr Abbott said.

No I don't care, but don't forget to pick up your little halo's from around your little ankles.
Not everyone that disapproves of Tony Abbott is a Labor supporter, something many LNP supporters fail to realise.
Aw yeah ho hum. I'm no great lover of the LNP either, but they're certainly an improvement on the previous train wreck of a government. I'm prepared to go with them (seeing I have no choice.)
What exactly have they done that is an improvement?
Being secretive about what they are doing? good idea that......... what we don't know, we can't worry about

POD: "It might not be a bad idea to make a comment AFTER a period of time once to Parliament has been in session instead of consulting the Labor crystal ball"
Come on Pod that is logical. If one is suffering from PPTSD (post poll traumatic stress disorder) the least that can be done is decide (as a voting minority) what will happen before it actually does, and then hold hands here and sing a few verses of Kumbaya.
Gosh, the new parliament has not even had a sitting yet, just wait till it does, it might even take the history channel off the air.
Did the wall ever recover from its alleged 1977 battering?

Primary votes 2013 election:

Liberal:4,134,865-32.02%
90 seats LNP 55 seats to the losing party Labor..... That equates to a massive hiding to labor....
