Parliment will be more respectful with the LNP running it

I guess the mad monk thinks we all have the stereotypical 'memory of a goldfish'....

It is a promise......another to be broken, that parliment will be respectful

http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/19754668/abbott-promises-respectful-new-parliament/

Addressing the West Australian Liberal branch at its annual conference on Saturday, Mr Abbott pledged a parliament that "discusses the issues, rather than abuses individuals".

The prime minister said the parliament wouldn't impugn the motives of opponents or trash their reputations.

If anyone tried to go over the top, new Speaker Bronwyn Bishop would sort them out.

"And I am confident that after just a few weeks of the new parliament - that parliament that diminished our policy and embarrassed our citizens over the last three years - will soon seem like just a bad memory," Mr Abbott said.

Talk is cheap? No, talk is reflective of intelligence and passion....Julia has it.

Can you imagine any of the labor party standing proudly in front of protesters holding up those "ditch the ____" signs? And then playing on it for years. Can you imagine any of them taunting tony about family members dying of shame? Can you imagine them laughing at filthy menus that play upon Tony's sexuality?

Wait. Drink break to wash that taste out of my mouth.

Anyway, nup, none of those foul behaviours will be repeated because the labor party front bench doesn't do things like that. So I guess Phoney Fibbott might be right...now that he isn't leading the taunt squad, things might be more respectful. He knows labor would never stoop to his levels. Seriously.

Yeah exactly right.

When was the last time you heard Julia Gillard personally attack any Libs or Nats?

I missed the times she accused any of the opposition of causing the death of their parent because they were shamed. I missed the times she accused them of being criminals and questioned their sex lives and marital affairs.  Care to provide some links?

Misogyny anyone?

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

Yes, I forgot that. The filthy comments to our first female prime minister, hurled across the parliamentary table by the Libs. You're going to get a shock when her book is released next year.

I am sure that no labor member in opposition will resort to cheap, uneducated, bigoted behaviour like that.

What about it?  She spoke the truth about it.  It wasn't her standing in front of personal attack signs or making personal attacks that would never be said to a male person.

It's like talking to a brick wall, Tony can buy the boats, lie, make sexist remarks, fumble his words and NOT one, one-eyed supporter will flinch and eyelid.
