Re: Photo chat thread. BLACK AND WHITE.

"English favorites like humbug (anise-flavored, black with white stripes) and bull's-eyes (peppermint with red and white stripes)"

Stawka you could also be right.

The ones I have had were peppermint flavoured .We do have a shop here that sells English made sweets.. I don't want to pay $10 for 2 small packets to test them out though lol.

Google is not my friend. I got different info. from another link.

It won't let me paste that for some reason.

The odd person has posted a photo of themselves (obvious not their own work) or a pic off the net and declared it to be so. Personally I don't why they would bother posting those. Unless they are new and haven't read the guidelines in the opening post. The vast majority stick to the guidelines.

Blackballs - "Hard boiled peppermint lollies that are an ole kiwi favourite " i will have to start calling them humbugs.

I posted a pic of myself and of mum and dad, however I did state that I did not take them and they were not for voting.

Mind you if I had taken a photo of said pics they could be. Personally I don't agree with that because what is the visual difference between a photo of a photo and a scan of a photo.

Having said all that there is no art scholarship up for grabs here (is there?). and as I said back <<<<<<<<< there somewhere, if you are not happy and you don't think the entry is fair then don't vote.

I think the pic off the net to be very wrong though.

I saw a pic on here and also on the net in the last theme. I was looking at something on facebook actually and thought I was having a bit of de ja vue

Re: Photo chat thread. BLACK AND WHITE.

I humbly suggest that if you are not sure about a pic, think.....would I be happy to win the challenge on this photo? If not post it on the chat thread....people still view there,a nd I have seen occasions where someone has posted a photo on the chat thread beacuse they didn't think it appropriate and people have encourage them to submit it...

If you suspect someone has copied from the internet...and you feel that strongly about it......pm them and give them the opportunity to remove it from the thread. If they don't and you are still concerened contact whoever is running the challenge that week.

Most posters here are pretty discerning and I hope can tell if somone is not playing fair...
