Interesting article... thanks for posting!
Reminds me of a line from one of the Indiana Jones movies... something like, "bury a common item for 1000 years and it becomes priceless"...
Though the site of an ancient tragedy, the area continues to provide new and unique glimpses of life long ago.

It is an interesting article.
Had to laugh at the bit I underlined above. It reminds me of a section in the book '3 men in a boat', which was written in the late 19th century. the author mused that the common, everyday stuff they had might be prized in a century's time. He asked if even the common blue willow plate they were using might one day hold pride of place on some descendant's mantle.
Maybe when we all threw our old clunky computers and TV's out, we made a big mistake. They might be worth money in the future.
