Possum deterrent

I'm just establishing a little garden in my new courtyard but know the possum family in the nearby trees are waiting to feast .  In my previous garden they stripped it 😞    Has anyone tried that bird  netting overnight?     I've tried just about everything else.

Next time you do the washing save the water from the first wash cycle,(the first empty out).

Then put it in a spray bottle and spray the plants,(I used to do it with the vegies and the kiwi fruit).

The added benefit was that the insects didn't touch the vegies and you give them moisture at the same time.

You just have to respray if it rains and wash the vegies and fruit if it's used on those,
