Possum deterrent

I'm just establishing a little garden in my new courtyard but know the possum family in the nearby trees are waiting to feast .  In my previous garden they stripped it 😞    Has anyone tried that bird  netting overnight?     I've tried just about everything else.

If they can rip tiles off my roof, then bird netting sure as hell won't stop them.

Get an owl - and move him around every night.

Looking at this photo maybe you could buy them a pizza everynight.   It might be cheaper than replacing your plants every time they have a feast.Smiley LOL

Snot fair, look at those big starving eyes.  I love/hate  the little buggers and wouldn't do anything to harm them  .  Some good ideas here and I see bird netting gets a top rating, so that's my next attempt.  I used to put food out for them in my previous place but they treated it as entree for the real feast of roses, geraniums,  even some succulents.

Feed them your Wandering Jew.

Have I told you how much I hate both?

They're incontinent and pee and poop everywhere, attracting blowies in Summer.
