lots of loud grumbling thunder around at the moment.  5.30..... do hope it turns into a rip snorter of a storm.  we sure need it.

and in the midst of that, we got a text message to let us know the nursing home had no power but our loved ones are all safe and well and had baked beans and bread, with cordial, for tea. The emergency power was supplying some lighting but no phones and no cooking or air con.

We had a small amount of rain.....just need follow up rain...might get it seeing it's forecast for the rest of the week.
