Oscar-winning American actor Philip Seymour Hoffman has been found dead in his New York City apartment after an apparent drug overdose.

I will always remember his Oscar winning performance in Capote,, when he played the equally brilliant writer Truman Capote.

Heroin has never wasted any lives, the blame has to be put squarely at the foot of the owners of those lives.
