My eldest daughter saw man walk on the moon.....she was 2 months old and I sat her on my knee and told her to watch history being made.
She might not remember the moon landing but she does remember the story.

Have a book-Moonwalker-by Charlie Duke-signed by him.
He was the 10th man to walk on the moon.

Came home late saturday night and when I woke up Sunday morning the car door was open. Slammed said door and wound up window...it looked like rain.....
Very early Monday morning went on the "phone hunt" which had been AWOL since said Saturday night shenanigans......
Hmm I thought.. maybe it is in the car..... notices small black and white head bobbing at window
....... Oddie the cat had been locked in the car for a day or so and had urinated and defecated a number of times ..had
found the stashed dog food under the seat and broken into a water bottle.
Things to be happy about...
A the cat has shown me it definitely needs worming
and
B 'Eude de catpiste' cologne when used in copious proportions inside a vehicle appears
to keep hitchhhikers from talking too much (they just dry retch) and car thieves on their toes (running in the opposite dirtection) once the car is open.

Thought I would have a glass of wine(opened the bottle the night before)and lo and behold I never screwed the top on properly..what a waste and I was definately not going to lick it up even tho it was cold!!

Feeling pretty cheerful right now that my house has solid walls and roof.

Yah! Me too! We're getting it and we so desperately need it. My yard is like a bog hole, especially since the frost has killed off most of the grass, but it's so nice to hear water gushing into the tanks. Not sure about you, but we've got this forecast for at least the next 4 days.
I'm cheerful because there is nothing more comforting than laying in bed of a night hearing the rain on the tin roof.

We're coping the wet stuff as well and the golf course has received enough so can you please divert it
further inland,(they need it more than we do),
By Tuesday morning would be good thanks,
Our roads in the park are actually washing away and exposing rocks to trip over,(they used to grade it in
summer but it hasn't been done since the new owners took over)
