Services Australia check in - a data hog ?

Just seems to me that since shop " check-in "  app usage has been obligated for the consumer by Government mandate,  in the interest of  Government goodwill ,  cheery compliance under ambient emotional and financial stress and more elevated feelings of a fair go,  I would suggest that data usage by that app be made metered free and not debited against the hapless phone subscriber account

The thread title is for Services Australia.

Not apps from 3 years ago.

I hope they're keeping track of where you go.

It should only be the chemist and the supermarket these days.

To expect a government to do the right thing by the people it allegedly represents in this day and age is really too much  of an ask.
