Smells that bother you

The smell of fake tan tops the list for me.

What do you hate?

Just goes to show how different we all are.  Bacon sizzling and ginger would be two of my favourite smells 🙂

I don't like the smell of mould in a really damp place where it's been left to grow .... blerk!

A potato which has escaped to the back of the cupboard for a while before it announces its presence.

Garlic ! And on someone's breath, even worse. Foul, evil, and stomach churning.

Garlic is a must for a lot of cooking, but some people put 20 or more cloves into a recipe.

The garlic odour exudes from the skin pores.  Have been in the presence of Asian medical students hundreds of times, and it is certainly a very strong odour.

I am often in the presence of Africans and they all use the same perfume.

I think it is coco butter. So strong that's it's uncomfortable.

An odour from my childhood. I can still summon up the stink. My father used to melt tallow on the kitchen range in large metal buckets. It was then sprayed on the pastures to prevent bloat. Coming into the house and getting a whiff used to send me outside pretty fast. 🙂
