It wasn't a landslide. No newspaper or commentator has ever stated that. Perhaps you should re-examine the results.

You may have noticed that the "landslide" did not extend to the Senate where a pool of veritable snapping carp lie in wait to gobble up Mr Abbott's worst excesses.
What is it about "we really don't trust him either so we voted for someone else in the Senate" are you still not getting?

THE RESULTS WERE THAT MR ABBOTT WAS VOTED IN AS THE NEW PM of AUSTRALIA.
What part of that do you not understand, Polks?

what part of people are entitled to their opinion and entitled to voice, or type, that opinion despite the landslide victory don't YOU get??
you jump on anyone who dares to say anything other than tony abbott is all that is wonderful.
yes there was an election, yes the majority voted him in, yes the majority feel he is a fit prime minister - but not everyone feels that way.
I for one think he is an inept bumbling post turtle and i will say so if i choose to and won't be told i can't.
