Strong And Secure

A Strategy for Australia’s National Security?

To me it smacks of a scare campaign, not unlike the "War on Terror"

Is this an election panphlet one has to ask.

Perhaps JOOLYA!!! should be concentrating in the tangible needs of Australians and not nebulous fabrications.

Border security would be a good place to start.

If you have not read the above mentionmed statement you can get ir here.

I think a few more people need to have a look at George Orwell's 1984 to realise where we could be heading

Re: Strong And Secure

That is because people find it easier to "go along with the mob".

Some dictators use fear as the major weapon in their arsenal followed closely by censorship and controlling original thought.

If you read that 'Statement" you might be able to see through the thinly veiled attempt at ultimate control of............well everything.

I don't need to read it to know what they want to do, I have seen it coming for a long time and the usual reply is

"if you don't have anything to hide you don't have anything to worry about"

that along with apathy and one day people will ask "how did this happen, who allowed it"

But by reading it you will get an insight into how to fill up 48 pages and say nothing of substance.

I do believe that the highly paid spin doctors get remuneration that is proportional to the number of word and the absence of meaning that they contain

You mention Orwell's classic, I am wondering if you read that before your new found freedom or was your freedom a result of reading the classic 1984

Re: Strong And Secure

Look I read your OP I made my comments based on my personal opinions and that's it. I have made similar comments in the past.

I have no interest in continuing a pointless fight or argueing for the sake of it with anyone, nor supporting any side, I simply made a comment, please don't attempt to use me to further your cause.

If that group got paid by word count we would have had millionaires on CS.

I wonder if spin doctors get a bonus for fabrications that are twisted out shape to resemble the opposite of the original?
