Suburban trees

I hate driving around some suburbs and seeing no trees.
I don't understand the way so many people lose it over leaves, they're natural.
Sure they're annoying but it's more annoying to be walking in full Sun and having to get back in a vehicle that's been sitting in full Sun.
Yes, they do fall down and do damage and unfortunately kill the odd individual but they add so much to the streetscape and the natural environment

Re: Suburban trees

Not around here! With most of the new estates, you need to get in the car and drive to the nearest park... sort of defeats the purpose!

Swap my council for yours! Think I know the answer...sigh...

Re: Suburban trees

Also, with no eaves, if the gutters get blocked, when there's a downpour, the water runs straight inside the roof cavity, bringing down the ceiling.

Dangerous.     Saw it happen next door.

Lucky no-one was in the room at the time.

And OMG...the mess!

Insurance wouldn't pay - said it was all down to maintenance.

The fruit from her fruit trees fell in the guttering, blocking the downpipe.
