Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.
Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.
So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.
Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.
And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.
Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Hi Sandypas .... mashed potato (using Dutch creams), one egg, chopped chives, small can of red salmon, crushed garlic, pepper and a small squeeze of lemon.
I put it all together, and then with a little bit of seasoned flour, made them into a little ball and then flattened them, then with a little oil on the flat side of the grillplate, gently fried them until they turned a golden brown.
Very nice with salad or vegies.

make my own Chilli as well, but I make it with beef chunks not mince.
Is that Stagg Chilli made with mince?
Stawka if we make our own chilli con carni we keep some so we can have it on the filla spud meal the next night
but the canned Stagg is a pretty good substitute , it is mince though so you prob wouldnt like it

Tasfleur, Thanks for the recipe. I thought that was they way but mine often fall to pieces! I must have another go as I love them.
I have made a big pot of curried sausages for tonight with everything in it - onion, celery, carrots, peas, new potatoes and a tub of sour cream mixed through. My daughter in law has a split shift and goes back to work at 6 so wanted something ready early.
