Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Love the rainbow steak dish trav.

We're going to have a rare takeaway night and the kids are leaning towards KFC (popcorn chicken).  KFC is something I have and then don't want it for another 12 months.  Matt is on the road again and Kim at work so at least it will be an easy night.  We had a healthy turkey roll roast last night.

The one Ive had Tas is sort of like a beef stir fry with lots of colourful vegies and a nice sauce.

Only because you demanded to know...

Usually crispy beef strips with peking sauce.

Other name is  also shredded steak with emperor sauce.

May not be for everyone but I quite like it.

I hope is goes good with Lost in Space, on to episode 6. Yes, a very lazy day, today.

Tas.... Mmmmmmmm

My local Chinese puts no vegies in  the Rainbow Steak.

We all ordered a dish each and then had a bit of everything.

Rainbow Steak, Mongolian Lamb &  Szechuan Chicken.

Tas,  Sometimes you may find that the Rainbow steak may ot be listed on a menu.

My local Chinese does not list it, I ask for it. I do know of at least 2 others within about 3 suburbs of my home that

also don't have it on the menu, but will do it if you ask. Another, from memory lists in the "suggestions" and think

it may be steak with Imperial sauce.

If you plan to try it just ask for Rainbow Steak.

Not sure about the steak,  but I sure am going to try out the potato things with the bacons slices etc in them xx

Made fettucini carbonara tonight with a glass of cab sav.

Tonight I took my son & his girl friend out to have some fun.

He and I both felt that after the tough week we have had, it was time to go silly.

We had beers for dinner, (maybe a few too many ), attacked the pokies and ended up with more money

than we went there with, and his girl friend drove us home.

Had a great night together, and a lot of laughs.

today we had a take out burger from our local shop , they are not to bad

somedays better than others ....today was a real good one
