Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.
Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.
So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.
Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.
And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.
Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Tonight we had Australian grown rice and mixed vegetables and salad with cheese sauce (but you needed binoculars to see the sauce!)

Tas, last Thursday we went to the local pub for dinner and daughter had Poutine,
amongst other things of course.
Boy does she have that every time she can.

I've already cooked up and eaten my chicken stew and noddles, used half a chook, lasted me three days
Here's what happened
One chopped up onion and oil in a pot, browned slightly {low heat}
chopped up chicken in small pieces, a drum stick can go straight in..browned a little
chopped up garlic, red capsicum, fresh tomato {stir}
{capsicum and tomato makes it!]
pepper, paprika, salt, and chopped up chicken cube stock, mushrooms {stir} add a bit of water, and three table spoons of sour cream
stick a lid on it
{any herbs can be used, sometimes i'll add rosemary, or a bay leaf]
By the time the noddles are cooked, she's done!

BTW, those noodles are cooked in a separate pot, pinch of salt added to the water and a blob of oil to prevent it from sticking

Aw, c'mon Joz. Mum taught ya how to make home made ones.
They'd be much better than bought ones.
Try browning them in a bit of butter when they're cooked. Really yum with the stew.
