The All New Tas - What's for Dinner Thread - & - Don't Get Uppity.

Tas mentioned there was a good thread on - What's for Dinner.

Seems it ended up - a bit ' snooty '.

So - no fancy - dancy - stuff - just good fresh ideas for dins.

Oh - & Freddie - just loved the zucchini slice - if you could just put it here one more time - I swear not to lose it again.

And please - this time add the - zucchinis. lol.

Here - tonight - Chicken Schnit's with salad.

Had my leftover tomato soup for lunch, then went to my boys night early.

Had Roast Lamb, baked vegies, corn and some broccoli.

The club was nearly empty, the chef piled the plates up with food, and then asked if we wanted more.

Four of us had trouble getting through it, let alone wanting more.

Weather was cold and we all called an early night. Smiley Very Happy

Hubby has been read the riot act by the doc.

I can't make any slices.  If they're in the house he'll eat them.

I have to hide my goodies and snaffle them when he's in his room.

But please put up the recipe anyway  hehe

Will post the recipe.

My wife doesn't eat virtually anything that has sugar in it,  where possible.

I was told last night to get all my sweet junk out of the cupboard, because she said it is too tempting.

I put it in my own room, where I munch happily away. Smiley Very Happy

*sigh*...clinkers are my idea of heaven but are off the menu since being diagnosed with diabetes.

The last time a pack found its way into this house I threw caution to the wind and had a good pig out.  I spent the next 2 days on bread, water and apples to repair the damage but it was worth every mouthful of my "punishment".
