Dont forget to watch The Bolt Report every Sunday on Channel 10 at 10am and 4pm
Join Andrew Bolt, one of Australia's most read, most topical newspaper columnists, as he addresses today's political and social issues through opinion commentary, panel discussion and interviews.
This week
Abbott’s deficit tax. Sacrifice or suicide?
My guest: Amanda Vanstone, former Howard Government minister and member of the Commission of Audit.
The panel: Michael Kroger and Cassandra Wilkinson.
NewsWatch: Rowan Dean.
So much to discuss: destroying the handout mentality, the deficit tax and growing corruptions scandals. Plus: the menace of Clive Palmer’s money and the arrest of a man who quoted Churchill in public.
And this: is Labor’s what-budget-crisis? strategy clever politics or a reckless betrayal of the national interest?
Your Say and more.

Why should a Liberal member have been involved to make his comment valid?
His comments were not valid because he was jumping up and down saying that if it had been a Liberal member then they wouldn't have been given the same courtesy and they would have been hounded and asked to stand down.
Even Chris Pyne in the previous interview said that he believed that Labor would have allowed the person privacy if it had have been a Liberal member but Bolt just brushed that aside and went on to the next "discussion".
Perhaps they learnt from the case involving Theo Theophanus. Stranger things have happened.
Either way, it wasn't a Liberal member. Therefore Kroger's response was just mud slinging.
Yes I watched the show. I like a laugh.

I had a laugh too, Joono, during Chis Pynes interview where they showed a video of students trying to burn an effigy of him. Except it kept going out, and Mr Pyne kept coming up smiling, god that was funny!
the coveted five laughy-face award.

"We’re only asking students to pay 50% of their course cost. They currently pay 40%. We’re hardly asking for the world-"
or their left kidney, he went on to say-
I did think it was a bit disingenous of him to say hadn't heard of the rape allegations against Mr Shorten. It must have been common knowledge in his circles.

yeah.....nothing to ask for....especially when the majority of these 3-4yr(most degrees)-7yr(medicine/architecture) course students cannot get a job in Australia anyways. What the heck?!
Foreign students and workers have a better chance of getting a job-before the jobs are even advertised, in Australia.Just go to the Dept of Immigration and Border Protection website and there a hundreds of jobs-for foreigners to apply for. The kick backs that the Australian company's that employ these foreigners must warrant HUGE benefits.
A win win situation for our present govt.....I mean for these foreigners to get in to Australia it's a walk in the park and then the govt does not have to worry about quotas too much.....or applicants to fill skilled positions....and their back slapping corporate mates get lovely benefits to counter pays/wages/salaries for these their newly appointed foreign workers, whom they would have to sponsor.
FANTASTIC Icy?!!....NOT
