12 million people living and thriving in a swing of 80 degrees celcius is not relavant to those claiming that 0.06 degrees shift is catesptophic?????

Climate Change is nothing more than the words imply, a change in climate.

That has happened since time immemorial and will continue to hapen until the earth is no more.

All the "Global Warming, Climate Change, Climate Diversity Nuts" must be very audicious to think that the climat/weather can be controlled or changed to suit their whim.

Governments and vested interests have managed to con some simple minded people into believing that taxation can control the weather.

LOL...last time I looked 93% of Australia's scientists agreed that Climate Change is a reality JUST LIKE OZONE DEPLETION WAS IN THE 70'S TILL CFC'S? (can't remember), were eventually replaced, almost 20 years later. 

BTW...what are your scientific qualifications by comparison to 93% of this country's QUALIFIED scientists in making the above dismissal of the facts?

Of course changing climate is a reality, I doubt that anyone would deny that.

It should be 100% of especially scientists to realize that fact.

But when it comes to the causes there is no consenus of opinion.

Computer modeling only poroves that computers can run a modeling program, the result of which can be anything the person doing the program wants it to be.

Governments want a means to collect more taxes and to further control people and industry.

The Rich will KEEP MINING COAL, because there's a lot more wealth to ship overseas where that came from....far be it for Oz to be the country that at least develops CLEAN COAL BURNING technology maybe?....damn..I know, way too innovative......dare to dream eh what?

BTW Hawk...we had no 'Ozone Tax'...we just banned that which was doing the damage (worldwide)..you won't ban Coal, so it's a conundrum really, as we see the profits of all that coal go OS....instead of staying here.  Gough must be so disappointed......if only eh?
