One of the lows which will probably turn into a cyclone is west of us, we're just getting the rain and winds from it..

The one we will be watching closely is the one off Darwin, they've got it possibly tracking down our way in the next few days or so.

We have family in Darwin so we are watching the cyclone warnings anxiously. Granddaughter reports they've had a big tree come down and block their street already.

as for the cyclones, OH is in Darwin atm. said the wind was howling last night, lots of branches etc over the roads this morning and heaps and heaps of rain.

Let's hope it just fizzles out, stay safe tende.

Not long until you have ther bathroom all to yourself keelia :-x I bet it will feel strange for awhile but I'm pretty sure you'll adjust okay hahahahahaaa!!

Not up to much today, will vacuum the pool later, no creepy crawley yet, I think the exercise of doing it manually is good for me and it's not like I go to the gym or anything so that and gardening is about the only workout my muscles get.

I'd love to see the pics she el, so yep do the link if its safe 😉

I can't work out why on the BOM site, they are saying :
DO NOT PROCEED TO PUBLIC EMERGENCY SHELTERS UNTIL ADVISED TO DO SO. CYCLONE SHELTERS ARE NOT OPEN AT THIS TIME.
It's already a cat 1 going to a cat 2?

You'd think in a place like Darwin they'd have those kind of places stocked and permanently on standby during the cyclone season.

Yes exactly.

I know most people are probably prepared etc but it is a cyclone, not just a low, so I find it odd.
