Morning

Hope it's not blowing there too.....
We are finally getting a bit of a break, had gale force winds on Monday and strong wind warnings for a few other days...

Had to put this in.... Skipper when we first got him and how he's grown...not just a handful anymore...lol

Tende, he is a very handsome dog!

Afternoon all. Not much happening here as it's Zozo day. I went into the city for a short while this morning and I have to say it was not too bad, crowd wise, in there. I guess the shopping centres are the places to avoid.

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

She_ele - I am quite up front in saying that I am old-fashioned about some things... I limit his use of his mac & internet time, he has jobs he has to do, & as for the reading, well we are a household of readers! The Miss16's are avid readers (they've read all Tomorrow books twice over!) & MrSew & I always have a book or two on the go. So it's a good influence for him. He's a amazing the way he will read for half a day, only getting for the toilet...

Also, he writes... he writes alternative chapters/storylines for books he has read/is reading. He also writes his own short stories. Teacher says she can tell he reads a lot, & a variety thereof.

I know you are nodding, saying to your BigPinkSelf, good on you Mr11!!!

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

Well, now I am very nicely set up in my sewing room...

*small fan heater, to combat the problem with my hands & feet getting sore when they are cold...
*re-arrangement of storage, so the room 'works' better...
*a brand new mp3 dock thingo, to plug my Sony mp3 into when I'm sewing.

And next to the sofa in the family room, I have my trusty floor lamp, for when I am hand stitching/xstitching ect... lucky me!!

NOW EVERYONE WILL KNOW WHERE TO FIND ME!!
