Morning Waussies

:^O @Tende.

Never fear little Puddles, we know it wasn't really you who had our mugwump incarcerated - my intelligence agents tell me it was more likely someone from another thread doing a spot of moonlighting :^O

Lovely sunny day here. I should be outside enjoying it; instead I'm sitting in an armchair with a lappy on my knees and a cat doing her level best to shove it off and install herself there instead.

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

Hello waussies:-D

Ta daaaa!!

I know it's hard to believe but the painting is finished, YAH!

The carpet looks good, so nothing else to do over there now.

How was everyones day? Nice and relaxing?

Good to see you made across the border muggsy. I've lived NOR and SOR, so guess I'm neutral:-D

A friends boyfriend wouldn't come and visit with her when we lived NOR, how silly is that. Don't know if he was serious or just wanted some time away from her. Come to think of it, it was probably the latter!!

The weather is soooo lovely now, but not quite warm enough for me to get in the pool, has to be really hot for that. I've got a bit mowing to do and some tidying up etc. before my sis arrives, think I will be busy, but can't wait until they get here.

might pop in later, cyas.

It was very, very windy here last night. I've been told that that means warmer weather is on it's way.

I'm looking forward to next week when his workload lessens a bit and we get to do some sight seeing.

Well hello wauzzies

Soul, I don't believe it...you've finished YAY!!! Good for you.

What kind of carpet did you lay? Colour etc. You might have said back there, but I have forgotten, sorry! I think I may have mentioned I think I will recarpet the two spare bedroom when the fam moves out (in about 10 yrs...nah just joking...soonish I hope)

Would love to do pale cream/off white but then thinking maybe sisal look is more practical.

Have fun when your sis is visiting.

Hiya bc9, yup the warmer weather is on it's way. Noice....., except if you were to be here in late Oct Nov, you would be getting the El Nino factor, hot hot winds, like sticking your head in a fan forced oven LOL. You are getting the best of it.

Lis of course would not agree. She lubs it when it is 40 deg, am I right Lis?

Must be off, yet another quilt workshop tomorrow, all day. I am feeling a little guilty, only worked Monday. Worked Wed but had reps there most of the day, so haven't really been concentrating this week.

I took Zozo and Baz to the park today. It was so lovely outside. Zozo collected many many sticks and dead leaves. They are now all on the floor of my car:-(

Night lovelies:-x

Yep. At 40 deg I might consider giving up the jeans for a pair of shorts. LMAO. One of Hubs mates reckons Ive got a dodgey thermostat. LOL.

Well done on the house Soul, and have a good time with your sister.

Night Waussies.

Re: The Official West Australia Thread!

morning:-)

excuse any typos, I'm not a morning person.

Glad the weather is being nice for you, blue, and hope you're having a great time. Sounds like next week will be even beter!

Another quilting day, jules! You'll be all quilted out:^O

I didn't get a real light colour carpet, being rural, it wouldn't stay light looking for very long. I didn't get the real cheapy cheap stuff but not the exe stuff either. It's blue/brey with flecks through it. Not very good at descriving it?? It looks good in that house but wouldn't suit this house. It looked a lot lighter in the shope, too, so that's something to consider. Must be like paint, you know how when you choose a colour you need to go one lighter for inside and one darker for outside to get that particular colour?

Anyway, I just hope they like it, if not, tough.

I'm with you Lis, I didn't find the heat too bad over there. Well up north it was yuk but in Perth ok. I don't like the humidity, so will be in and out of the pool this summer.

Hi to all the other waussies, enjoy the day.
