The day in the life of a mod

I can just imagine them experiencing some of these emotions as they read through some of the stuff that we write.

Spoiler
a special thanks to Digi who has been the provider of many of these pics over time as she has so eloquently communicated her own reactions to certain things LOL Thanks digi

Ah, yes.  The 60's.  The Mods and the Rockers and the Surfers.

Mary Quant, Geometric shapes on fabric for dresses. Skiv-vies.  Knee high boots, pageboy haircuts.  Jean Shrimpton, mini skirts (just above the knee) berets. Black and white plastic geometric earrings, necklaces.

Sister had a Mia Farrow haircut, crochet tops, halter neck dresses, white knee high boots, floppy sun hats.

A bit of nostalgia.

Some nannas now have more to worry about with the piercings and tattoos.  A bit  more permanent than haircuts/colours.Smiley Happy

Mods in Australia were never related to skins or punks never remotely anything like it, never morphed into them.

Mods were a sixties thing that came just after the bodgie and widgie.

Mods in Australia were closely related to the beatniks.

MG's,  black  pants,  avocado mohair jumpers and DB's too cool. Robot wink

That's funny, I don't remember you being there - not talking about the 1960's, talking about the next generation of Mods - 1980's, google it. Quite a lot of mods became skins, so did some punks - talking about my friends. Argue away though if it pleases.
