It is not so long ago that many atrocities were being committed by Irish catholics and protestants in UK.

odd that it appears on the front page of all the papers just while abbott and co are trying to convince us all to support the over the top "counter terrorism" laws, there is plenty of hateful disgusting violent anti Palestinian and Muslim images on twitter from people who are still in Australia, wonder if they will be on the front pages tomorrow. Where's the vast majority of "peace loving and peaceful" Muslims?? where's the world condemnation of this appalling genocide Muslims are carrying out in Syria??

I haven't heard a cacophony to condemnation here in Australia from Muslims, all I see are  Muslims using children as bombs and taking their children overseas to brutalise and radicalise.

I will not be an apologist for this type of behaviour by Muslims, I will not defend the Muslims carrying this out and try to shift blame onto others.

After 9/11 the world changed to a very scary place. Our air travel has been compromised so that we will never feel safe again. Who is responsible for this?? Muslims.

The story I read in the OP, was about a father encouraging his Sydney born son to hold up a severed head for a social media photo....

. his caption was "that's my boy"....this story is about horrendous child abuse.....if the boy returns to Australia, he should never be in

contact with his father again, who is a known terrorist.

The father is a moron....... his religion is irrelevant.

Maybe email the David Johnston the LNP Minister of Defence to answer the first "quoted" part of your question.

As for the "cacophony" that you haven't heard in Australia....maybe try reading something other than the murdoch press? Air travel, Islam represents 0.6% of the population in the Ukraine, are you suggesting that it was Muslims that shot down the last plane, maybe email the pm and let him know.
