Nice stick insects Icy 😄
Iza, yes I did but mostly we just called them lollies. I remember when we came to Australia we went to the deli with our pocket money and my brother wanted to buy an ice lolly. I think that there was one like a twin pole that cost only three cents!
Anyway, he asked the shop keeper for a 3 cent lolly and she gave him a Freddo Frog which he was a bit confused about. LOL at the stick pics.

Last winter I did a craft project. I started with miniatures, but they're still in the box. Then I decided to do some crochet, to make a cover for my hot water bottle so it wouldn't scald me. I bought some ugly synthetic yarn from the $2 shop then began. It's progressing quite nicely and I expect it will be completed in a year or two, if I can find the darn crochet hook thing.

Neat, Icy.
Joono, another Pommy? In London an ice cream was made with cream and an ice lolly was made with cordial ... is that how you remember it?
OK, I found my garden scene and took some photos ... it's not made up correctly but enough to give you an idea.

That's great Katy 🙂 I see you are a fan of the outside dunny too. I like the barrow with fruit and the table is interesting. Did you paint it that way or is that how it came?
That's how I remember it with the ice cream and ice lollies. What we call lollies here were known just as sweets.
A lollypop was totally different, I was just confused. I think a lollypop in England was the same as a lollypop here but it was a long time ago.

Yeah, sweets (there) were lollies (here) and lollipops were boiled sweets on sticks and desserts were something sweet you had after dinner.
Greater detail on the table ... no, I didn't paint it ... I painted another couple, but not this one.
