According to the police it wasn't drug or alcohol related.

Whatever else Tiger Woods may have developed during his latest lengthy absence from competitive golf there appears a new willingness to display a sense of humour.

He's very lucky to survive. Apparently if it was an older model car, without the safety features he probably wouldn't have made it.
