A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.

he and his girlfriend gave up a baby for adoption. he saw the baby once in the 2 weeks his girlfriend and the baby were in hospital

here you go...just one article but there are plenty more all saying pretty much the same thing
At the age of 20, Mr Abbott's high school girlfriend Kathy Donnelly found herself pregnant. The pair agreed to give up their baby son for adoption in 1977, but it was an experience that would come to haunt him in the most public of ways almost 30 years later.

So what ?
Who are YOU to judge him by those actions ?
How do you know that the GF didn't say to not visit ?

"he and his girlfriend gave up a baby for adoption. he saw the baby once in the 2 weeks his girlfriend and the baby were in hospital"
That comes across as judgemental.

Ask a what?
In food testing the samples are not recycled. At present we don't irradiate any frozen fruit and vegie products and berries are not on the list of products that are allowed to be irradiated, although there has been an application lodged for the inclusion of strawberries.

Deb, don't fall for the bait. Just ignore!
It's not worth arguing over some old posts that have only been pulled out to cause friction.

Just think if he had paid then it wasnt his, he would have been able to get it all back from her. That is a pretty strange thing to say.
He thought he had a child when he was a teen ( that the baby was his).... never bothered to pay any child support for the boy, for the years betwen when that chid was born until he was 18. He heard from the boy/man, when he was about 27 yrs old.
Did he tell his family about the baby? I don't think he did.
No he didn't think he had a child all those years ago, he was confronted by an adult man who said he was his son. As it turned out, he wasn't but the way Tony Abbott handled the situation, the full and frank openness he displayed and his desire to accept the possiblity to be the father to this child just goes to the fact that he is a decent and honourable man.
Bringing this up on here after all this time shows the bankrupt morality of the leftists on here and only reflects bady on them.
Specially when they're the ones who don't like Mr Rudd & Ms Gillard brought when the spotlight is shone one their past.
"Oh that's ancient history we're living in the present, why bring up the past"
The work Hypocritical springs to mind.

MAVERICK Queensland MP Warren Entsch has urged Tony Abbott to weed out the “cockroaches” in his cabinet that continue to leak against him.
The outspoken MP this morning said he was sick of the leaking against the Prime Minister and that people who had concerns about his leadership needed to either say so publicly or “shut up”.
“Eventually these rats get caught out,” Mr Entsch told News Corp Australia.
“These cockroaches are all about building their own political future but in the meantime they’re doing damage to the government.
“It’s one thing to speak on decisions once they’re made and say you might be disappointed but it’s another thing to sneak around like a cockroach in the dark, leaking against what has been said in private when you’ve been invited to be part of the decision making process.”
Mr Entsch said he would not say who he thought were the source of the leaks about Mr Abbott’s decision making but said that he “had a few good ideas”.
Mr Entsch said he believed people very close to Mr Abbott were trying to set him up for failure.
“It may well be these are the same people that are advising him to do things that are the ones that create some of the conflict,” Mr Entsch said.
“It may well have been some of their own ideas and he’s accepting it on good faith.”
Mr Entsch said it was time for those doing the leaking to be “named”.
“Those unnamed ministers really need to be named,” he said.
“But they’re not going to come out because they like the pay-scale too much. The rats have to be weeded out.”

Icy
The bit I like is "you know who" going off half cocked, "never bothered to pay any child support for the boy, for the years betwen
when that chid was born until he was 18."
Yet she knows full well the boy was adopted out yet conveniently forgets that so she can have a crack at Abbott.
Very hpocitical as well considering she is accusing someone of not paying ![]()
