Tony Abbott's Support Page

A reminder of the debt that Australia has, while Labor can bury their heads and deny it exists the fact remains we have a huge problem with debt and sooner than later the chips will fall, no business, no state and no country can keep operating in the red, eventually those we own the money to will own us. Who will own us?
The state of Qld has debt of $80 billion dollars, Labor are saying they don’t think it’s that bad, Bill Shorten on Australia’s debt, there is no debt crisis, there is a crisis and we are in this situation because of Labor, no one else and the bottom line is Labor can’t fix this problem, their speciality is creating debt not fixing debt.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

I forced myself to watch Bolt yesterday. It was interesting to see how he puts together a panel for discussion.

There's a phoney sense of  'balance' achieved by having someone from the left and someone from the right. The 'leftie' might technically be a Laborite but they're someone who is now disenchanted with the party and will say anything it takes to bring them down.

The three of them had a good old lovefest agreeing with each other.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

I saw it for a few minutes once Cros. There are a few similar shows on Sky. I hate the way they shout down anyone who has a different opinion to the hosts (like Chris kenny, Paul someone from PM live) none of them are worth watching, they're not funny, not even factual, who would waste their time watching that nonsense!?

Except for those one eyed lib supporters I suppose, maybe it makes them feel good ? 😃

I've tried to watch occasionally, but I can't cop his whining method of speaking.  And so patronising.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

The government is spending $5 billion to establish a new Job Active training system to improve employment services in Australia.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott, Eric Abetz and Luke Hartsuyker explaining how Job Active will work, our government is working hard to have the un-employed back in work, this is wonderful news for Australia, under the old system hardly anyone ever found work.

Remids me of the Drum and Q&A.

Thank you so much for using the second post on your recently registered ID to reply.

Christopher Pyne has made quite a few appearances on Q & A. Are you expecting us to believe that he's a closet leftie?

They still won't under this 'plan'. You can train people, give them work experience but that doesn't create full time jobs for them to move into.

Yes, cutting the rorts by Job Network needed doing.

As for more jobs available - Abbott hasn't kept his election promise to create millions of jobs. He hasn't signed off any new infrastructurre projects either (which would create jobs).

This new Training system/Jobs Plan is just that a plan, still the same lack of jobs out there, still many more unemployed than there are jobs.

Job agencies will be encouraged to get unemployed people into short-term work through four-week outcome payments in addition to the existing 12- and 26-week payments.

I don't know what the reason is for your comment on my post and my ID, being a new member of CS.  I'm sure you meant no spite and thank YOU for your welcome.

Re: Tony Abbott's Support Page

one last one before I go:

Some day you just have to pull back, shake your head and wonder why God gave oxygen to so many idiots, and worse still a rag like the Guardian allows them to write articles for them.

Most uni students these days are flat out coming out with an arts degree after have a couple of attempts at passing and this loony wants employers to pay for their Hecs debt. How long are we expected to keep these free loaders for, forever?

Christopher Pyne must have the hardest job in government, first he has had to deal with the idiots in the senate who seem to think they were elected to block everything and now the Universities have withdrawn their original support because they have become frustrated and a ding bat like Van Badham is allowed to write an article about it.
