Apparently the result will be known on Wednesday - US time.

I reckon Trump will just slink away. Probably to make a new episode of Celebrity Apprentice. lol

I was talking to a Sheriff yesterday who told me it was all hands on deck for the election.

All violence and threats of violence has come from the left.

The fact is she claims to be against big government and for the working man. That's a joke.

Really, at the end of the day, they are politicians. From our own experiences here, politicians will promise the world to get your vote, then when elected, conveniently forget. They are compulsive liars. I think a lot go in with good intentions then lose their way pretty quickly and go rogue.

Never trust a pollie. There's not one that is any better than the other, both here and the US. The rights think their man can do no wrong, the left thing their man can do no wrong. Sadly, they have blinkers on.

It would be interesting to know the amount of people who do choose to vote, given it's not compulsory. Then it will be interesting to see how vocal the crowds get when it's all over. I would also like to know whether the most vocal actually voted, or do they refuse to, then jump up and down when their "man" doesn't get in?

I think Hilary is the safer bet, but sadly, I think Trump has a pretty good chance of taking it out. He seems to have a lot bigger following at his rallies. People like that he has funded his own campaign, rather than sponsors and whatnot paying for it. He says he's going to close the borders. Like a lot of us, the US people are sick of the flooding illegals.

In one respect I'll be a bit sad when it's over because Facebook has been rather entertaining. I have quite a few US friends and everyone has their opinions. There are constant slinging matches. Friendships have ended. Families have been disowned. It's all quite amusing watching it all unfold. It will be sad when it stops.

However, Trump is not a politician! And in a way I think it's good that a non-politician is running for the presidency, because of the reasons you outline. But this particular non-politician seems far too extreme in his views on making America great again and reminds me of a certain Pauline Hanson when she emerged on the scene. I hope a trend is set and we start seeing world renowned scientists etc throwing their hats in the rings around the world, not just in the US. Can you imagine countries being run by highly intelligent people who are not liars and who aren't experts in political rhetoric and deception?
