morning we are going to town so Ashton can have a photo with Santa (aka Pa haydn) Boods coming as well, Jade has gone to work with hubby they are carting sand in the truck to use as a base for a tank...

We made it to the city in the 43 degree heat...had a good trip.
Put the trailor in the shed and then Hubby and I went shopping for about an hr with out the kids LOL

Heading up nrth SA to the inlaws later on... not going to be as hot or long a trip.

yay back in the city LOL

kids had a ball...

Ashton got filthy dirty I kid you not I was changing him and having a tub x2 a day and still had a tinge of red dirt...:O
J & B got filthy as well plus covered in paint from raiding poppys old pain tins..

Hubby got fished as did some of the other men...so xmas day they where pretty quiet ...

all in all was good to catch up with inlaws.

now back to getting everthing cleaned and packed again for our trip to the beach for 5 days..

Ashton slept well after the 230am chuck... Hubby got up with him about 830am...
j & B are sposed to be going on a picnic with our neice & her BF...
Hubby Ashton & I are going shopping while they are out.

Going to have a quiet time tonight have a few drinks on hand so will see in the new year 🙂

Morning
Ashton has been sleeping well....catching up on all the sleep he missed at nannas n poppies.
We all went to the zoo yesterday was good apart from sore feet by the end of the day..Chubba went to sleep while we waited to see Wang Wang & Funi they had put up shade along the path ways as people had fainted in the heat.
We are packing up this morning & heading to the beach for 5 days 🙂

Afternoon
Well what a hectic 2 weeks holiday we have had...
Xmas at the inlaws up north SA then...

Last saturday we went to Wallaroo for 5 days all going well for 2 1/2 days until Ashton came down with gastro...a Dr visit and antibiotics & gastrolyte and lots of baths was the go as his tempature was up n down.
We went for a 314km drive around southern yorke peninsula after that we went to the pub for tea.

Today Ashton is up being cheeky which is good as he has just been lying on the lounge or floor moaning...poor bubba wasn't very well at all.

While I stayed at the holiday house with Ashton hubby & J & B went sight seeing, we did all go to the beach after 5pm though and had fun swimming, the last night we had fish n chips on the beach and then came back and packed up alot of our gear ready to pack in the morning.

We got back to the city about lunch time and have unpacked some gear for 2 days, hubby has repacked the trailor as we had left all the tents n camping gear in SIL shed...will be glad to get home and not have to un pack n re pack...LOL

Oh what a shame Ashton got sick..glad to hear he is feeling better.

Does sound like you have had a lovely break though...I can relate to the hassle of unpacking and repacking etc!!!
