Afternoon, Ashton has been sleeping well despite teething some back molars....can feel them but not quite through the gum yet.

Hubby and 3 kids went shopping yesterday...got back 5 hrs later with heaps of stuff to unload.....and they bought me a bunch of flowers:O...nice to look at but no smell!

This morning the kids where sposed to be cleaning their rooms...they have been fighting more than cleaning 😞 have to stay in there until done so looks like they might spend they whole day in there!!!!!!!

Ashton has been sleeping well has almost finished the 2nd lot of antibiotics he needed, took him in to get weighed on tuesday...11.7kg so looks like he has gained weight (YAY) we do weigh him on our digital scales but all scales are a bit different so it is good to double check...

We have had extreme 40 degree heat very humid...yuk yuk yuk we all did lots of swimming to keep cool....had a few power outages which made it too cook tea so we used the bbq then.

Kids had a swimming carnival yesterday...in between the rain I didn't go as I had to go grocery shopping and pick up 6 new chooks (Isa Browns) well actually they are pullets so not laying for a few more weeks!

Braydan has been named Vice Captain for his home colour...his best friend is captain...think it may be double trouble
Braydan decided not to do music again this year so saving $120 off the school fee's.
Braydan has so far read every night and finished his home work tuesday night.

Jade went aot down the back steps monday morning because she was running...tsk tsk Hubby had to clean her up and put banaids/ bandage on the wounds....off to school a bit sore n sorry..........when I had a look she had a huge blue bruise
on her knee and a split on the elbow...a slathering of betadine and all is good.


Hubby has a new off sider...a girl LOL she is hoping to obtain a certificate 3 in agriculture so will be here for a few months to get some more experience.....so far she has been doing well her parents own a farm but she can't work on there to get the certificate IYKWIM... She used to go to school with our kids and they are friends of ours...

better go to the bus...hope to post a pic or too soon 🙂

Ashton has been sleeping well think he is growing again cause he is day sleeping 2-3 hrs which is a change from 1-2hrs usually.
Ashton has been enjoying more time outside is starting to realise not to chase Charlie as he runs away.....Other day when Ashton was swimming he asked Charlie to "c'mon swim Charlie" LOL
Braydan is sporting a black eye from being hit by a tennis ball at school...accidents happen...Braydan has gone to stay over night with a friend he will be back tomorrow after lunch.
Jade has been doing well with her school work is finally getting maths 🙂 Jade keeps moving her furniture around in her room......think she has finally decided to leave it as is for the moment..If only she would throw some of the "stuff" out instead of hoarding it!!!!!!
Hubby has had a productive week reckons his new off sider is great...2 weeks in and all is good...next week is foot pairing on the sheep they hope to get 1200 sheep a day done...hubby is hoping all runs smoothly.
I have been pretty slack this week was sposed to do painting out the front but wasn't motivated to get started...have to get started today while the weather is warm.

oooooh just got 190 photos in the mail...ordered them from HN online now have to sort into 6 piles and then do descriptions on all..................:O

Yeah it is a train you push...kids have been going on that since they where about 1-2yrs old.... for the last 6 yrs we actually drive through the town we might stop there for a loo break..
Hubby is actually kneeling behind Chubba while he sat on the bale...just so he didn't flip backwards..

I used to love doing that on the farm...those circular hay bales are awesome!! We also used to drop my little sister down between the wool bales when she was being a pest!!]:)
