EcommerceBytes Blog - Ina Steiner
"eBay is revamping its community area including the discussion boards. The change comes as eBay transitions away from using LiveWorld to moderate its boards. As we report in Monday's news story, eBay was not ready to provide more details when we broke the story last month. Who will moderate the boards - will it be brought in-house, or will eBay outsource it to another company? We'll have to wait to find out.
But we do know eBay is revamping the boards. Certain features will remain the same, but the design will change."
One change that is puzzling is how eBay will designate an employee's post. In the past, moderators' posts were always shown with a pink box - with the new design, posts from eBay employees will be identified by a blue box surrounding the post. Users had always referred to eBay forum moderators as "pinks" - so changing the color seems an odd decision.
Users have already expressed concern over what the change in moderation will mean for the user experience, so hearing that eBay will revamp the community area will likely cause more concern. On a positive note, eBay will move all previous posts to the updated forums.
What do you think of these changes, described here:

and what would you change on the eBay discussion boards if you could, and why?

well deb, when you get the first slap in reply to someone (usually a 0 posting ID)....you'll then notice that they'll tag you for a while trying to get a rise....as I recall there's one further back in this thread in reference to a comment I made about Malcolm Fraser, but that person doesn't rate a reply anymore = problem solved.

No probs....you can use any filling including chicken & vege. they come out great...oh but don't forget to brush with egg wash before putting in oven...makes it really glossy and golden. We have mash potato and corn on the cob with it..yum...with real butter...what else?

Sorry guys...the rain stopped and my sheppies were crossing their legs so I had to go let 'em out....the sun is even shining, but won't be for long....it's just a tease.
oh yes, the scar......well, I managed to get the dressing off, but had to do it in the shower cause it was stuck like glue (I swear he used gaf tape)......luckily the stitches weren't the dissolving kind...lol.....but now it's 8 days on and I don't know when to cut the stitches out....have to ring the doctor..he never tells me that stuff....he's a bit like John Malkovich...we get talking and laughing and well, medical instructions go out the window. how long do you usually leave stitches in for?.....= it's 9 stitches long = an inch & not looking too bad YET...lol
