Does anyone know how the Jewish Year is calculated - I believe this year is 5775. It is supposed to be since Creation?

cthulhu was before. all these upstart religions are nothing to him.
sacrifice a priest/imam or other religious leader to him now and appease him who is of the old race and he may spare you.

Were you in the movie The Mist, lal-au0? I thought I recognised your Old Testament rhetoric!

Now that I think about it, there are charts of how long each of those people lived for and what year it was.
re the current year,so, its slightly complicated.
According to Jewish Tradition:
the first full Jewish year, started on day 6 (Friday), when mankind was created.
so , the first year went from Sunday to Thursday and only had 5 days.
Whether the first 5 days is called year 0 or year 1, is disputed by the Jewish Sages, but at any rate, we're only out 1 year either way.
I can't find the work I did before, but, I did a chart of Adam until Flood last night .... 1,656 years but I suppose that is based on everyone being exactly the age (eg Adam 130) so there is an 11 months in each generation that could make it up to 10 years or so out.
Anyway, I'll have a look for some of those charts.
Thanks All.
